Martin 018 Koa

Here I am  holding a 1927 Martin 018K. I should have kept this guitar. (Only paid 270 bucks for it at an auction!) The Koa is prettier than mahogany and has a brighter tone too.  Originally a Hawaiian guitar, this is one of the few "vintage" guitars that is worth more converted for finger-style playing - up to about $1800 (in 1993).
