Description: EMG DG-20 David Gilmore pick-up set. 3 SA single coils, SPC contol, EXG controls. SPC or "strat presence control" is a FAT control which allows you to turn a single coil into a dual-coil pick-up, and boosts the mids. EXG Expander acts as an amp EQ at your fingertips. It will boost the the lows and highs and cut down on the mids. It's great for creating a fuller tone that doesn't get muddy, while keeping it clear and clean allowing you to stand out in the mix . A solid walnut body with HUGE
sound. It's heavy like a LES PAUL and has all the tone and sustain. ° Super fast, unfinished maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Neck feels sooooo smooth in your hand. ° Tremolo style bridge with roller saddles and a graphite nut for superb tuning stability, its always in tune no matter how hard you dump the bar. ° Grover mini tuning machines ° Schaller strap-locks ° Has super fast/low action with no buzzing and perfectly intonated. ° This guitar once had a balsa-wood body to make it lighter, but it was lacking some serious tone and sustain. Me being a Pink Floyd fan for many years, I was chasing the sound of Gilmore forever to no avail. Once I changed the body to solid walnut the guitar came alive. Its the closest sounding guitar I've come across to Gilmore. If I didn't need the money I would NEVER sell this guitar!!! This axe is in new condition and has only been play less than 12 hours total. No scratches, no dings, no scuff marks, its completely clean. TOP |
