Item: Ernie Ball Music Man Custom Axis Super Sport Guitar    SOLD

Description: WOW! What else to say about this baby?!
Love is not "not having to say you're sorry", it's owning this guitar and not bitching about what it cost!
A lucky grab for our inventory, and at this price it'd be hard to say there's any other guitar in its league.
It maintains the Van Halen neck shape (real cozy) and offers great sounds.
The pickups deliver excellent clean tones & definition under distortion.
The piezo sound is straight and uncolored, ready for your preferred method of EQ-ing.

Rosewood Fretboard and Neck

Rosewood fretboard

Rosewood neck back

- Hard ash body w/rosewood top veneer & creme binding
- SOLID ROSEWOOD neck! w/rosewood fingerboard
- Super-secure 5-bolt neck attachment - nice tight neck pocket
- E.B. tremolo w/piezo saddles
- Schaller locking tuners & pearl buttons
- Custom calibrated E.B. P-90 style pickups
(true single coil with active hum canceling circuit)
- 3-way pickup selector
- Master volume & tone control
- Piezo balance/volume knob
- 3-way piezo/both/magnetic selector switch
- Mono-blend & stereo outputs.

The only other recommendation I have for this axe - other than BUY THIS GUITAR BEFORE IT'S GONE - is to consider installing the Lloyd Baggs "Control-X". This device would replace the stock piezo balance/volume control and allows the guitar's master volume & tone controls to work on the piezo bridge as well as the magnetic pickups. I've installed this unit in many guitars with always great results. It eliminates the need to EQ the piezo sound outboard of the guitar in the mono & blend modes so that it works well when playing through a single regular guitar amp. In stereo operation, the Control-X still allows EQ-ing of the unaffected piezo signal. This would be the icing on the cake for about $250 additional in parts & labor.
