This lower priced import version of the USA made "Redmond" version is a well made instrument offering this new innovation in Floyd Rose bridge design at affordable prices. The "Fly" pickguard is not now offered on the Discovery series, making this particular guitar a bit special over the current Discovery models. The innovative "double bullet" stringing system is fast & easy to use, offering added tuning stability beyond the original Floyd Rose design. The twin humbucking pickups have good range of tone with simplified controls. Action & playability is excellent. Strings for this new bridge design are available through Dean Markley or any store willing to obtain them for you. We will supply extra sets of strings with the guitar upon request for the added cost of them in your preference of gauge.
